First of all, can anyone please tell me where 2009 went?? It feels like I just moved to Dallas and yet I have been here for what is going on two years. It's so crazy to me that we are about to ring in 2010!
Anyway, I was supposed to go to New Orleans for the 'countdown to 2010' + the Sugar Bowl (GO GATORS) but because of obligations back home, I am unable to go. So now I will be celebrating NYE in Dallas. I am usually at home with my parents, fast asleep with the help of Unisom, but will now be out and about and I'm pretty excited about it.
A group of us decided to go to the Fairmont Hotel to celebrate with 1,000 of our closest friends, but our event is black tie. So I've decided the timeless, but updated "little black dress" is in order -- went ahead and purchased one from Urban Outfitters. It's 80's inspired with large, pointy shoulders and yet fits like a glove. So now this girl needs some shoes that pop.
If only I could afford a pair of beautiful emerald green Versace gladiator heels ..
However since I can't, I'm sure I'll just be rocking some standard black heels.
